The hmong, Khamu and Thaï Dam tribes will warmly welcome you in their their remote lands. During this adventure, you will ride up to 1.800 meters high on mountain trails. Bamboo bridges, river crossing on local rafts, lost tribes, be reckless, we are talking about an epic adventure !

DAY 01
FIRST RIDING SENSATIONS IN LAOS
After having a coffee with the team, you will ride your bikes to discover the surroundings of Luang Prabang on the road towards the waterfalls. You will have lunch at the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls where you can enjoy a swim in the clear water. Then, you'll ride for another 50 + kms on a large tracks along the Mekong river and finally technical track.

DAY 02
ON TOP OF THE WORLD
You will start on a mountain paved road going up to 1’900 meters high. You will enjoy stopping to take pictures of the landscapes and visit hill tribe villages. You will be on a remote track which swirls among the rice fields near the Thai border. The second part of the afternoon, you will drive on a main national road getting deeper in the countryside.

DAY 03
TOWARDS THE THAI BORDER
Visit of the old centenary Lue temple, hand-painted by the monks. You will then ride on tracks again to cross several mountains and valleys that will lead you to the border with Thailand. You will cross the Mekong River on a ferry ! Immediately after crossing the river, you will follow a countryside gravel road for several hours. You will then arrive in Kamou and Lao Loum tribe villages.

DAY 04
IMMERSION IN THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE
You will start by riding 2 hours on-road towards the Golden Triangle and its luxury Chinese-style casinos with Italian statues at the border with Laos, Thailand and Myanmar. From there, the adventure continues while riding on a dirt trail with several river crossings along the Burmese border and the Mekong towards the small village of Muang Meung.

DAY 05
ETHNIC ENCOUNTERS
You will take the road again in the early morning, heading down to the valley on a dirt road before reaching the road to Phoukha, a small town of the Lao Lum tribe. Then, you will ride again towards Nale by a dirt trail. Remember to bring foot balls to offer in schools, which generally end up with a good game of football with the children of the village.

DAY 06
OUDOMXAY PROVINCE
Mountain slopes, river crossings and breathtaking sceneries are waiting for you. You will take a farm track through rice fields and banana plantations. You will then reach a road again and have lunch in the city of Oudomxai. Then, another off road track is waiting for you. Wide and somewhat technical, you will ride on this trail towards Muang Nga.

DAY 07
ADVENTURING UNTIL THE LAST DAY
Straight into jungle after only 1 hour drive dirt road, you will be in the forest for 100 km of slopes and hill tribe villages, with some technical sections. Back on the main road, you will visit the Pakou Caves. You will drop your bikes and cross the Mekong River on a fishing boat to visit the cave. You will finally ride one last hour to reach Luang Prabang.
