OF THE TRAIL RUNNING
THE RACE - “TRAIL RUNNING BURNS 10 PERCENT MORE CALORIES THAN ROAD RUNNING”
Five days, five stages, 25 km every morning, on dirt mountain roads or single jungle tracks. Be ready for river crossings, fence climbing and wild animal encounters. Our reactive team of local Lao people, in collaboration with a French team of trail experts, doctors and nurses, will decide on a daily basis on which tracks you will run the next day, according to the performances and aptitudes of each participant. Every detail has been taken care of at least 6 months in advance to ensure a safe and exciting trip for our runners.
MAGIC MOMENTS WITH LOCAL INHABITANTS
You will be given the chance to live what only few people experience in their life. Local villagers will welcome you for a night in their house and will make you the honour of preparing their best piglet and chicken for dinner. Donations are organized in the schools to provide new furniture and school equipment for the children. You will discover the country through its mountains, tracks above the clouds and on board of local boats on wild rivers.
AFTER THE RACE
Time to rest and enjoy the award ceremony on a local boat. This last dinner together will be the perfect moment to share a fine Lao dinner and admire a sunset on the Mekong River. The next morning will be full of surprises again between the Elephant conservation Center and the turquoise blue water of Tadsae waterfall. We will capture every moment and every detail of this unforgettable journey so you can bring those memories home with you and share your experience.
