DAY 01
FIRST RIDING SENSATIONS IN LAOS
After having a coffee with the team, you will ride your bikes to discover the surroundings of Luang Prabang on the road towards the waterfalls. You will have lunch at the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls where you can enjoy a swim in the clear water. Then you'll ride for another 50 + kms on a large track along the Mekong River and finally technical track.

DAY 02
ON TOP OF THE WORLD
You will start on a mountain paved road going up to 1’900 meters high. You will enjoy stopping to take pictures of the landscapes and visit hill tribe villages. You will be on a remote track which swirls among the rice fields near the Thai border. The second part of the afternoon you will drive on a main national road getting deeper in the countryside.

DAY 03
TOWARDS THE THAI BORDER
Visit of the old centenary Lue temple, hand-painted by the monks. You will then ride on tracks again to cross several mountains and valleys that will lead you to the border with Thailand. You will cross the Mekong river on a ferry ! Immediately after crossing the river, you will follow a countryside gravel road for several hours. You will then arrive in Kamou and Lao Loum tribe villages.

DAY 04
IMMERSION IN THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE
You will start by riding 2 hours on-road towards the Golden Triangle and its luxury Chinese-style casinos with Italian statues at the border with Laos, Thailand and Myanmar. From there, the adventure continues while riding on a dirt trail with several river crossings along the Burmese border and the Mekong towards the small village of Muang Meung.

DAY 05
WILD TRACKS ALONG THE VIETNAMESE BORDER
You will hit the road again early in the morning on a jungle trail along the Mekong heading the Myanmar border. You will then ride on a small countryside path to Luang Namtha, where several ethnic groups are still living. We will take care of mechanic adjustments on your bikes, while you visit the city, its temples, its local market.

DAY 06
A WAY THROUGH THE CHINA/VIETNAM ENCLAVE
You will get back on your bikes for few kilometres on road. Afternoon will be much more technical : rocky paths and technical trails will allow you to discover Laos by its plains. You will arrive in mid-afternoon in Nale, very authentic little village, with its handcraft workers and fishermen. The end of the afternoon can easily be completed by a football game with the kids.

DAY 07
KHAMU TRIBE & BANANA FOREST
You will ride on the only path that leads towards North-East, then on a track used by farmer tribes, and a nice road to finish this morning. You will arrive at Bountai just next to China by the end of the afternoon. You will spend dinner time and the night in a Tay Lue village, surely the opportunity to discover authentic lao culture, and Lao whisky.

DAY 08
MEETING THE AKHA TRIBE
You will be heading the Vietnamese border. Beginning with road, you will then ride on nice mountain trails. You will meet the Akha ethnic group, they live especially in this area. The tribes up there are very isolated, and have only few contact with foreigners. You will arrive by the end of the day in the little town of Muang Khua, 100kms far from Vietnam.

DAY 09
100KM OF PURE MOUNTAIN TRAILS
Day short by the distance, but quite hard technically. 1000 meters up high in the mountains, then going down in the valleys, crossing rivers. You will go through Hmong and Khamu villages, to finally arrive in the afternoon in a village of the Tay Lue tribe. You will then reach a Hmong and Khamu village to spend the night.

DAY 10
HMONG VILLAGES & MOUNTAIN VIEWS
You will ride on a countryside road, very close to the Vietnamese border. Lunch on your way before getting on a long trail along the Nam Ou river. Several tribe villages are along this path, your guide will be the link between you and them. At the end of the trail, you will reach Pakmong, and from there a valley road will lead you to Luang prabang.
